Service Agreement
Service Entry & Liability Agreement
This agreement is entered into between Crystal Reef Aquatics LLC (“Company”) and the Client at the time of scheduled service.
1. Authorization to Enter Premises
Client grants Crystal Reef Aquatics LLC and its contractors permission to enter the service location for the purpose of performing agreed aquarium installation, maintenance, repair, or livestock services.
2. Assumption of Risk
Aquarium systems involve water, electrical equipment, glass, and livestock. Client acknowledges inherent risks including, but not limited to, water spills, minor leaks, equipment malfunction, livestock loss, and incidental damage.
3. Limitation of Liability
Crystal Reef Aquatics LLC shall not be liable for:
Pre-existing structural, electrical, or plumbing issues
Damage caused by faulty, aging, or third-party equipment
Livestock loss due to pre-existing water quality issues
Consequential or indirect damages
Liability for any claim directly caused by Company negligence shall be limited to the total amount paid for the specific service visit.
4. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:
Provide safe and clear access to the aquarium area
Disclose any known plumbing, electrical, or structural concerns
Maintain homeowners/renters insurance coverage
5. Indemnification
Client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Crystal Reef Aquatics LLC and its contractors from claims arising from conditions outside Company control.
6. Payment & Disputes
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any disputes must be submitted in writing within 7 days of service.
7. Quality of Work Disputes
Any dispute regarding the quality of services performed must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of service completion. Client must provide clear photo documentation sufficient to substantiate the claim.
Failure to notify the Company within this timeframe shall constitute acceptance of the services as completed.
